A Waldorf woman was indicted March 27 by a Charles County grand jury on charges of sex abuse of a minor and aggravated animal cruelty.

Caitlin Frye, 33, the parent of a child, was alleged to have sexually abused a minor between July 27, 2021, and Nov. 14, 2025, indictment documents said. Frye allegedly conspired with another person to cause sexual abuse to a minor, according to the indictment.
