Gas prices rose

Average gasoline prices in Baltimore rose for a third straight week.

Average gasoline prices in Baltimore have risen 0.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.46 per gallon Monday, May 18, according to GasBuddy's survey of 663 stations in Baltimore. Prices in Baltimore are 45.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.44 per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 0.5 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $5.618 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Baltimore was priced at $4.15 per gallon Sunday, May 17, while the most expensive was $4.79 per gallon, a difference of 64.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state Sunday was $3.75 per gallon while the highest was $5.49 per gallon, a difference of $1.74 per gallon.
