The Waldorf Wildcats 9-U football team won the Pro Hall of Fame National Championship in Canton, Ohio on Nov. 26 with a 20-0 win over the Cincinnati Elite Red Raiders. The Cincinnati team had a record of 31-0 the last two seasons before losing to the Wildcats.
The previous day, the Wildcats defeated the Michigan Raiders, 21-0. And during the trip, on Nov. 23, the team was honored during halftime of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ contest versus the Portland Trail Blazers at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and connected with several Cavaliers players, including Lebron James.
