Taking home a national title

The 10-U District Heights Chiefs from the American Youth Football League Metro Division captured the AYFL National Championship on Dec. 12 in Orlando, Florida with a 46-16 victory of over the Cali Bears. Karon Starks plays on the team. The 10-year-old is a St. Mary’s County resident who attends Carver Elementary School.
