Liberty Lions take on the Patuxent Panthers — Patuxent High School senior outfielder Cam Bott prepares to catch a fly ball during the 2A state baseball semifinal at Blue Crab Stadium in Waldorf on May 23. Bott and the Panthers rallied for a 5-4 victory over Liberty in that contest to earn a berth in Saturday's 2A state title game against Parkside at the same venue.
